Candle burning tips. ~
Soy candles are very long burning and
following these tips will ensure that you get the most from your candle.
= Always
trim your wick to 1/2 - 1/4 inch before lighting, and keep it centered. In
addition, remove all debris before each lighting.
= After lighting your candle for
the first time, burn it one hour for each inch in diameter. This keeps the
well from forming in the middle, and it will remember to burn to the edge
next time.
= Place burning candles on a heat
resistant surface, and handle with care. Containers will become HOT.
=
Try to keep from burning your candle
in a drafty area, doing so will cause the candle to smoke and cause it to
burn unevenly.
= Keep all candles out of the
reach of children and pets!
= Never burn candles near anything
that can catch fire, and NEVER leave unattended!!
= Do not burn your candle more
than 1/4 inch from the bottom, doing so could cause the jar to shatter.
= To blow out a candle, hold your
finger in front of the flame and blow at it. The air circulates around
your finger and keeps hot was from spattering. Blow gently until the glow
is extinguished to help minimize smoking.
= Always remember use extreme care
when burning candles.
